The king’s name and title on a floriated field, ‘al-sulṭān ibn al-sulṭān Fatḥ ʿAlī Shāh Qājār’ (‘Sultan, son of Sultan, Fath ʿAli Shah Qajar’ in Arabic/Persian). Rev. Within a central circle, ‘zarb-e dār al-salṭana Iṣfahān, 1228’ (‘Struck in the Abode of the Sultanate Isfahan, 1228’ in Persian). Album 2864. Rare. In PCGS encapsulation, graded AU58. Some deposits and with light areas of corrosion on the reverse, otherwise, about extremely fine.
